BurningDVDs.com was originally launched in 2008 as a public service to inform visitors on the history of the DVD, which are also known as Digital Video Discs.

Fast forward to 2012 when the website underwent a major renovation and was re-launched with the purpose of providing new DVD releasess to the movie going community.
